Events

The Community Center offers a variety of social and cultural community events each year including, dinner dances, wine tastings, dinner & a movie, socials and art shows and luncheons. A successful formula has been developed for these community events, as attendance is increasing and wait lists have become a regular occurrence.

Dinner & a Movie begins at 4:30 p.m. with a lecture about the film. Each program in the series will be on a Thursday. A cash bar will open at 4:00 p.m.  Following the discussion and movie, a buffet dinner will be served. Put all the dates on your calendar and bring your friends to fill a table at $20 per person.  Prepaid reservations are required and can be made by calling the Community Center at 597-8877 ext. 101.

Photography Workshops and Field Trip Series

The Photography Workshop and Field Trip Series starts in January but you must HURRY! Classes are limited to 15 people and space is filling fast! Call the Community Center at 239-597-8877 ext. 101 or visit the Community Center TODAY to make your reservations.

The Annual Pelican Bay Art Show
Attention artists, sculptors and photographers!  The annual Pelican Bay Women’s League/Pelican Bay Foundation Art Show is scheduled for Friday, March 9, 2012. All are invited to join the artists for the opening Wine and Cheese reception. The show will continue through Sunday, March 11, 2012.  This show is open to all artists, sculptors and photographers who reside in Pelican Bay. The purpose of this show is to give all residents a chance to display their latest works.
